We missed the 10 year bash!!

March 20, 2017 marked the forum's 10th year!

I remember fresh to this day, the heartbreak and shock at Rene's server crashing/hacked. BK and I got into a discussion some time in February 2007 and decided MaK needed a Forum and we would make it happen. Our biggest decision was who was going to pay for it  ;D I was hesitant since I already had a website to run, so BK stepped up and said he would if I took care of the tech. If I recall correctly, BK's reasoning was that he needed a personal website anyway. Thus the partnership was formed. 99% BK, 1% Futch  ;D

I obtained a database backup of Rene's forum just prior to the crash and I was able to port some of the cool threads. Unfortunately a straight conversion wasnt straightforward. I still have the backup but since Rene hosted all of the images, and the images are gone, the threads are useless without pictures.

Anywho, here we are.

Happy 10th!  That's the Resin Anniversary, I believe, according to Hallmark.  The 15th is the Photo-Etch Anniversary, and the 20th is the "Only Available At Wonderfest" Anniversary :D

Three cheers for BK and Futch! I too remember Rene's forum and before that it was Yahoo Group!
